PROFESSIONAL
2017: Signed an MLS contract with Toronto FC on March 2… Part of the TFC roster that won the MLS Cup, the Supporters’ Shield and the Canadian Championship… Finished tied for second on the team with six assists in the regular season, appearing in 21 games, including 10 starts, and 1,058 minutes of play… Recorded three game-winning assists…  Registered his first career assist in MLS on March 18 against Vancouver… Also scored his first career MLS goal on July 30 against New York City FC… Played his first career MLS playoff game on November 21 against Columbus… Recorded two assists in three Canadian Championship games… Also started one game with Toronto FC II, in the USL… Selected by LAFC with the fifth pick in the 2017 MLS Expansion Draft, on December 12, before being traded to the Impact with Jukka Raitala in exchange for Laurent Ciman.

2016: Signed a short-term agreement on June 29 with Toronto FC, in MLS… Made his first team debut in a Canadian Championship game, on June 29 against Vancouver… Made his MLS debut on July 2 against Seattle… Recorded six goals and four assists in 20 games with Toronto FC II, in the USL, totalling 1,513 minutes.

2015: Recorded two goals and one assist in 21 games, including 13 starts, and 1,252 minutes with Toronto FC II, in the USL… Made his professional debut in the USL on March 28 against FC Montreal… Began the season as part of the Toronto FC Senior Academy team before signing his first professional USL contract on August 1… Scored his first goal on August 8 against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds… Also scored one goal and started a friendly game against the A.S. Roma Primavera, on July 28.

INTERNATIONAL
Has appeared in four games with the Canadian national team, including three starts, making his international debut on June 13, 2017, in a friendly game against Curaçao at Stade Saputo… Selected for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup, although he didn’t appear in a match… Played two games with the Canadian U23 national team at the Pan American Games in 2015.

ACADEMY
Briefly joined the Toronto FC Senior Academy in March 2015 before jumping to the USL.

YOUTH
Played with Erin Mills SC, in Mississauga, before joining Sheridan College at the collegiate level… Won the 2014 CCAA National Championship and was named OCAA Freshman of the Year, appearing in seven matches and scoring eight goals.

PERSONAL
Son of Peter Phillips and Carla Edwards… His parents are originally from Jamaica... Has four brothers and three sisters.
