What are the "Soccer Schools" ?
The Soccer Schools (or SoSc) is an organization with the primary goal of helping young players reach their full potential. As such, the SoSc have developed complete and extensive programs allowing players and coaches to further their knowledge.
What is the difference between the “Soccer Schools” and the Montreal Impact’s “Academy / Pre-Academy”?
Contrary to the Academy and Pre-Academy, the children registered to the SoSc programs are not affiliated to the club. This means they can continue playing with their respective clubs if they wish.
How do we register for your programs?
Do you need a competitive level to register to the Soccer Schools?
For the majority of our programs, participation is open to all. Some programs do present restrictions in terms of level of play.
Are your programs mixed?
Yes, all our programs are mixed (with exceptions).
My child is not the required age; can he still register for your programs?
Unfortunately, in order to ensure homogeneous groups, we ensure that all children registered to our programs are the appropriate age.
During my order, I indicated the wrong shirt size. How can I modify it?
No worries. It isn’t necessary to modify your order or contact us. Just advise when we’re handing out all equipment and we will furnish a shirt in the right size.
My child speaks only English but would like to participate in an SoSc program. Is it possible?
The majority of our programs are given in French but the SoSc personnel is in large part bilingual. Young anglophones can participate in our programs without issue. The educators will be able to answer their needs.
