Two Montreal Impact young stars made an appearance earlier today in the MLS 22 Under 22 ranking, where league experts list the best 22 young players in MLS.

For the Impact, right-back Zachary Brault-Guillard made the cut at number 20, not far behind centre-back Luis Binks, who ranks 11th.

Both players have been integral for the Montreal Impact this season, cementing their spots in the starting 11 despite their young age. In his first year with the side, Luis Binks has started 17 games for the club, becoming the leader in Thierry Henry’s defensive unit at just 19 years old. His calmness and confidence on the ball reverberate through the side and is perfectly suited for the team’s new style of play.

Brault-Guilard, on his end, has been a handful on the right wing, using his speed to break through defensive lines and rushing back to complete the defensive part of his duties. He’s become an undisputed starter this year after being limited to the bench in 2019. The Canadian international has notched an assist in 16 games started this year.
