MONTREAL(May 23, 2020) – The Montreal Impact announced on Saturday that its first-team players will have access to Centre Nutrilait’s fields as of Monday for individual training.

Quebec’s Public Health approved the return to individual training for the Montreal Impact players at Centre Nutrilait after the protocol was submitted to the government.

In collaboration with MLS, the club’s health protocol was approved so that players could be part of this first phase of an eventual return to action.

On a voluntary basis, the club’s players will train in a very secure, sanitary, and controlled environment. Both natural grass fields will be used, which will allow eight players to train at the same time in their clearly defined quadrant.

The players and essential staff will have access to Centre Nutrilait, but not to the inside of the building. Following MLS guidelines, media will not have access to the facilities and to the parking lot, but the club will provide video and photo content, as well as players’ comments.

The Impact remains in communication with the governing bodies and MLS, while following the Covid-19 situation carefully to protect the health of its supporters, players, staff and partners.
