Montreal’s Argentine sensation was always destined for great things
Tonight’s classic game is a special one, as it marks the beginnings of the club’s greatest ever goalscorer in MLS, Nacho Piatti, which you can watch live as of 7:30pm on impactmontreal.com.
The Argentine Designated Player played his first full 90 minutes with the Impact on August 30, 2014, scoring both goals in a 2-0 win against the Columbus Crew SC. It was a start that proved this man was destined to do great things north of the 45th parallel, and he did, in a six-year stint that allowed Montreal’s supporters to fall in love with the Argentine magician.
