MONTREAL – The fourth edition of the International U14, presented by the Fédération des producteurs d’oeufs du Québec, begins this Thursday, at Centre Nutrilait. The tournament finishes on Sunday, June 30, and is open to the public.

The International U14 is an annual tournament organized by the Montreal Impact Academy that groups six MLS clubs, including the Montreal Impact, as well as Bologna FC and FS Salaberry, who won the International U14 Qualification Tournament, presented by Nutrilait, at the beginning of May.

The Impact U14, coached by Eduardo Sebrango, will open the tournament on Thursday, at 1:15pm, against New York City FC U14.

Montreal is in group A with Toronto FC, the New York Red Bulls and New York City FC. In group B, Bologna FC is joined by D.C. United, Chicago Fire and FS Salaberry.

Each team will play two group games on Thursday and one on Friday, followed by the quarterfinals. The semifinals will be played on Saturday and the ranking games will be played on Sunday. The final of the International U14 will start at 1:45pm and will be followed by the closing ceremony.

Every game will be broadcast live on the Montreal Impact’s YouTube account.

Last year, Toronto FC won the tournament, winning the final 1-0 against Bologna FC.
