Impact U15 wins 7-0 against New York Cosmos

U15 Cosmos

The Impact U15 was back in action in the Development Academy, last Saturday against the New York Cosmos, at Centre Nutrilait. It was a first competitive game for the team since the We Love Football tournament in Bologna, Italy, in mid-April.

The team kept its good habits, winning 7-0 against the club from the Big Apple.

The Impact took the lead in the second minute after a combination following a free kick. Midfielder Jordan Therrien played the ball on the ground in the box for midfielder Nathan Saliba, who scored on his first touch.

Therrien added two goals of his own after, in the 11th and 33rd minute, following nice collective plays.

Just before halftime, striker Medgy Alexandre contributed to the score sheet with a goal, assisted by winger Jean-Aniel Assi, who scored one himself before the referee sent everyone back to the locker room for the break.

After a few substitutions from head coach Dominique Morin, the Impact U15 kept up the pace.

Samuel-Antoine Sinzidi and Charles-Étienne Volcy added two goals in the second half to make it 7-0.
