Highlighting Prostate Cancer Awareness day

GARDE_JOEY

Rémi Garde and Joey Saputo are the Impact’s PROCURE ambassadors

Following the challenge encouraging mayors across Quebec to wear the PROCURE bow tie in November, several City Halls have lit up in blue this morning, including Montreal’s, to help raise awareness about prostate cancer in the province.

Four years ago today, l’Assemblée nationale du Québec declared November 19 as Prostate Cancer Awareness Day.

This is the fifth year running that PROCURE’s Bowvember campaign aims to raise funds for the fight against prostate cancer. Once again, our president Joey Saputo is an ambassador for PROCURE, while our head coach Rémi Garde takes part for the first time.

PROCURE is challenging the public to share their photos wearing the PROCURE bow tie on their social networks using #bowvember and tagging @procureqc. The person who publishes the most creative photo will win an exclusive box set of 5 bow ties created by Philippe Dubuc and Maripier Morin valued at $500 at the end of November.
