The Impact U15 hosts Cedar Stars Academy

The Impact U15, still with a perfect record this season with three wins in three games, will try to carry on this unbeaten run this Saturday, at Centre Nutrilait, as they host the Cedar Stars Academy U15 team at 10am. The game is open to the public for free.


These nine points in three games are also a sign of the way the Impact U15 has been playing. In its first ever game in the Development Academy, Serge Dinkota’s group won 2-1 against FC Westchester, before winning convincingly away 4-1 against Empire United, and then 3-0 against the New England Revolution.

Opponent’s results

The Cedar Stars Academy U15s won one game, tied three and lost one since the beginning of the season, scoring four times and allowing five goals in total. The team from New Jersey tied 1-1 in its first game of the season against Philadelphia Union.


About Cedar Stars Academy

The club from New Jersey plays and trains on soccer fields in Tinton Falls and Ridgefield Park. Its owner, George Altirs, hails from Lebanon and his love for his national team, the Lebanon Cedars, explains the choice of the name.


Technical director Tab Ramos is a legend of American soccer. He is also the U20 US national team head coach. The former midfielder from Real Betis and the MetroStars took part in three World Cups and was inducted to the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2008.
