Head to head

The Impact U15 will certainly have a taste for revenge against New England on Saturday. Last summer, Serge Dinkota’s group lost 3-0 against the same Revolution team at the International U14 quarterfinal stage.

Last season, in the Development Academy, the Impact U18 tied twice against the Revs; 2-2 at home and 3-3 away. The U16s tied their first game 1-1 at Centre Nutrilait and won the second one 2-0 at Gillette Stadium.

Opponent’s results

The Revolution U19 team is also perfect this season with three wins. The U17s won only one game and lost two, while the U15s won twice and lost once so far.

Last season, the Revolution U18 team finished its season with a 15-3-6 record. Their U16 team had a tougher campaign, finishing with a 5-15-6 record.

About the New England Revolution Academy

The New England Revolution Academy was founded in 2008. Three of their first team players are homegrown; Diego Fagundez, signed in 2010, Scott Caldwell, promoted in 2012, and Zachary Herivaux, graduating in 2015.

Mitchell Taintor, now with TFC II in the USL, was drafted 59th by Toronto FC at the 2016 MLS SuperDraft. Chris Tsonis, also from the Revs Academy, now plays for the Charleston Battery, in the USL.

The young Revolution academy players are training in Franklin, Massachusetts, at Dean College’s sports facilities, where they also live. Their Development Academy home games are either played at Bayside FC Facility, in East Providence, or at Gillette Stadium, in Foxborough.
