Impact acquires 2019 MLS SuperDraft pick from Seattle Sounders

MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact announced on Thursday that the club has acquired a fourth round pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft from Seattle Sounders FC, in return for midfielder Calum Mallace.
“We would like to thank Calum for his contribution both on and off the field. He has been with us since our first year in MLS and has represented the club in a dedicated and professional manner,” said Impact technical director Adam Braz. “We wish him all the best moving forward.” 
In six seasons with the Impact, Mallace recorded one goal and six assists in 80 regular season games and 4,415 minutes played, including 51 starts. He also took part in six MLS Cup Playoffs games and helped the club win the 2013
and 2014 Canadian Championship.
