Impact U14 to take part in national showcase in Toronto

MONTREAL – The Impact U14 team will take part in the 2015 Canada Soccer U15 Showcase, from May 14 to 19, at the TFC KIA Training Facility in Toronto.


The Bleu-blanc-noir will take on Toronto FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, FC Edmonton and a Canadian select squad.


Monday, May 15, 1pm – Impact v Whitecaps
Tuesday, May 16, 3pm – Impact v FC Edmonton
Wednesday, May 17, 1pm – Impact v Toronto FC
Friday, May 19, 8:30am – Canada v Impact


“The players are glad to have this opportunity of taking part in this great competition, as they mainly play friendly games over the course of their season,” said Impact U14 head coach Eduardo Sebrango. “They know that Canada Soccer coaches will be watching them, which will bring extra motivation. We want to showcase our principles of play and compare ourselves to the best players in Canada.”


Canada Soccer staff attending the Showcase will identify the top players for future call-ups to the youth national teams.
