MONTREAL –
The Montreal Impact announced on Tuesday that Belize midfielder/forward Michael Salazar will be loaned to Ottawa Fury FC, the Impact’s affiliated club in the USL.

Per the Right of Recall incorporated in the loan agreement, the Impact retain the right to recall the player at any point during the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.
As a separate agreement between the two clubs, Salazar will not feature for Ottawa in the Canadian Championship in order for the player to remain eligible to play for the Impact.

Salazar has played two games in 2017 in MLS, for a total of 33 minutes. In 2016, he took part in 17 games, including eight starts, and scored twice.
He will be available for Ottawa on Saturday’s match against the Tampa Bay Rowdies at TD Place.
