Full-back Ambroise Oyongo played the full 120 minutes of this Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinal, taking a yellow card for his efforts, with Cameroon progressing to the semi-final stage by winning 5-4 on penalties. The Bleu-blanc-noir’s #2 was put to the test during this session, convincingly dispatching the Indomitable Lions’ second penalty in the Senegalese goal. Cameroon will now face Ghana on Thursday, February 2, at 2pm (ET) for a place in the final, which would be their first since 2008.


Oyongo was also a starter and completed the semifinal against Ghana, a 2-0 win for the Cameroonians. The last test on the path to African supremacy? Egypt, the continent's most successful country with 7 AFCON titles. This game will be played on Sunday at 2pm (BeIN Sports).
