MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact Academy announced on Wednesday that the online registration for the U18 and FC Montreal tryouts (players born in 1995 and 2000, inclusive), presented by Nutrilait, is now open. The number of places is limited and the fee is $120 per inscription for players born in 1995, 1996 and 1997, and $90 for players born in 1998, 1999 and 2000.
There are three rounds in the U18 and FC Montreal tryouts. The first round will be on October 21 and 22 in 2016, and will be open to public. A first selection of the best players will be made for the second round.
The second round will be on October 23 with the players selected in the first round, as the third and last round will be from October 24 to 26 and will include the best players selected in the second round. It will consist of trainings with the current Montreal Impact Academy teams. The best players will be retained to integrate the Academy.

- U13 to U16 (Academy program – sport-études: 2001 to 2005): January 6-7-8 2017 (online registration is open, fees of $65 per registration).
- U8 to U12 (Pre-Academy program, players born in 2005 and 2009, inclusive): tryouts in mid-February 2017 (online registration opens on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, fees of $35 per registration).
