The Impact returns to MLS action this Saturday, as Houston Dynamo (4-9-8, 20 points, 10th in Western Conference) is in town to face the Bleu-blanc-noir. Many former members of the club are in fact now part of the Texan orange revolution, notably Eric Alexander, Collen Warner, Andrew Wenger and Matt Jordan.

The Impact Art contest winner this time around is Claude Éthier. The graphic designer pictured Kyle Bekker in front of the Stade Saputo West Grandstand, with the Olympic Stadium leaning tower behind a dark background.

“I created the image with the help of Photoshop, by displaying the different pictures,” explains the artist. “The colour and the add-ons were done by hand with a graphic tablet. I wanted to represent Kyle in action in front of Stade Saputo and the Big O, as a symbol. The background is grey and black to create a strong contrast which brings the player forward.”

The Montreal Impact (7-5-9, 30 points, 5th in Eastern Conference) will try to win a second home game in a row.
