Impact acquires general and targeted allocation money

MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact announced on Friday that the club has acquired general and targeted allocation money from the Houston Dynamo in return for midfielder Eric Alexander.


“This transaction gives us some salary cap flexibility for potential changes to keep improving the roster in the short- and long-term,” said Impact technical director Adam Braz. “We would like to thank Eric for his services, and we wish him all the best going forward.”


Alexander played 12 games this season, recording one assist. He played a total of 32 games and 1,925 minutes in two seasons with the Impact.
