Mauro Biello, the man in Bleu-blanc-noir

The poster for the Saturday, July 2, game against New England Revolution puts forth Montreal Impact head coach and director of player personnel Mauro Biello. Artist Romain Lasser illustrated a trilogy of the club’s former number 20 and record goal scorer: concentration, encouragement, satisfaction. In the background, we can see the city of Montreal’s stencilled rosette, sign of the continuous and strong link between Biello, the town and IMFC.

“For Biello, I decided to keep an urban feel with a stencilled style and the city of Montreal logo in the background, explains the illustrator. As coaching is a task with a lot of responsibilities, I chose to keep it very sober and to have some hard lines in there.”

The Montreal Impact (5-4-6, 21 points, 4th in East) welcomes the New England Revolution (4-5-7, 19 points, 8th in East) this Saturday, July 2, at 5:30pm. This will be Kei Kamara’s first game in Montreal since being traded by the Columbus Crew to the Boston representatives. Excellent seats are still available to take advantage of the IMFC summer!
