IMFC close out draft with a forward and defender

The Impact went to opposite ends of the field with its final two selections of the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, first taking University of San Diego forward Keegan Smith with its last pick the second round and 39th overall pick, and then added defender Brendan Hines-Ike from the University of South Florida in the third round.


Smith is expected to join the club for preseason, while Hines-Ike is currently under contract with a first division club in Sweden, but his MLS rights now belong to IMFC.
