MONTREAL For the first time of his career, Montreal Impact defender Eric Miller has been selected by the United States Senior national team this Wednesday, for a training camp that will take place at the StubHub Center in Los Angeles, between January 10 and February 6.


The American team will be playing two international friendly matches against Iceland and Canada on January 31 and February 5 respectively.
Miller, 22, was previously selected last October by the U23 U.S. national team and took part in the CONCACAF qualifying tournament for the Olympic games. He also played friendly matches against England, Brazil and Qatar. 
At the international level, Miller has played with the U20 and U18 U.S. national selections, taking part in the 2013 Toulon Tournament and the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey.
During his first two seasons in MLS, in 2014 and 2015, Miller took part in 30 matches including 24 starts for a total of 2,163 minutes played.
