MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact and Bologna FC 1909 announced on Thursday that goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau will join the Serie A club for a three-week training stint, from January 2 to 22, 2016.
Crépeau, 21, has spent the last three MLS seasons with the first team. In 2015, he started 11 games with FC Montreal, in the USL, recording four shutouts.
At the international level, Crépeau was recently called by the Canadian national team for the third round of qualification games for the 2018 World Cup versus Belize in September. He also started seven games with the Canadian U23 national team in 2015, including two Panam Games and five 2015 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
Crépeau also had a training stint with Germany’s Fortuna Düsseldorf U23 team, in January 2015.
