CONCACAFU13

2015 was an historical year for the Montreal Impact and its Academy with many unforgettable moments. Here is a Top 5 of the best Academy events from the last year.

4 – U13 in the CONCACAF Champions League

The Impact U13 team was part of the CONCACAF Champions League from August 4 to August 8, and like the senior level competition, the young Impact players faced teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

It was the first edition of this tournament for this age category. Since each game was played in Mexico City, Academy players were able to live the same sensations as the ones lived by the first team in the Champions League quarterfinal and final.

The team finished in 4th place, playing against teams from Mexico, Jamaica, Salvador and the United States. Goalkeeper Benjamin Collins was named Best Goalkeeper of the tournament.
