MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact announced on Tuesday that midfielder Jérémy Gagnon-Laparé has been loaned out to Ottawa Fury FC (NASL) for the remainder of its regular season and playoffs.
“The Fury called us and requested to loan Jeremy for the remainder of their season,” said Impact technical director Adam Braz. “With no more games to play with FC Montreal, we felt it would be good for him to go there and continue to get some games in until the end of the year.”
Spending most of the 2015 season with FC Montreal in USL, playing 1,300 minutes in 16 games, Gagnon-Laparé, 20, has played seven MLS games, including three starts, since making the jump from the Academy to the first team on July 3, 2014.
He is currently with the Canadian U23 National Team for the 2015 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship to help Canada qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.
