Impact announces travelling roster for Disney Pro Classic tournament

MONTREAL – After three weeks of training at the Marie-Victorin Sports Complex, the Montreal Impact flies Friday to Orlando, Florida, to play the Disney Pro Soccer Classic.


The fifth edition of the tournament will take place from February 19 to March 1, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.


The Impact will face off against Brazilian side U23 Fluminense FC on February 19 at 8pm, the New York Red Bulls on February 22 at 6pm and then Sporting Kansas City on February 26 at 8pm. The championship game is set for Saturday, March 1.


The Impact took home the title in 2013, following a 1-0 victory over the Columbus Crew, finishing the tournament with a 3-0-1 record.


All games will be webcast live on impactmontreal.com and MLSsoccer.com.


The team will also play a friendly match versus Orlando City FC on February 16, at 4:30pm, at the Seminole Soccer Complex, as well as a simulated game versus SKC on February 26 at 5pm, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.


The Impact returns to Montreal on March 2, before heading to Texas for its season opener on March 8 to take on FC Dallas, at Toyota Stadium.

2014 Schedule

The Impact will kick off the 2014 season on March 8 against FC Dallas, at Toyota Stadium, before heading to Houston to take on the Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium on March 15. The home opener is set for March 22 against the Seattle Sounders FC at Olympic Stadium, which will also host games versus the New York Red Bulls on April 5 and the Chicago Fire on April 12. The first game at Stade Saputo is set for April 26 against the Philadelphia Union.


Olympic Trio

Supporters can take advantage of a special package for the first three games at the Olympic Stadium. The Olympic trio is available starting at $56, a savings of up to 30% when compared to single game ticket prices.
