With just six weeks until the home opener, the Montreal Impact officially launched its 2014 marketing campaign on Wednesday. For the entire season, the club will be highlighting its players and promoting the club under the theme: Bleu. Blanc. Noir.

"Blue, white and black are the colours of both our jersey and our logo, which have become symbols of our identity that continues to grow," said Impact Executive Vice-President Richard Legendre. "We want all our supporters to wear our colours, furthering their sense of belonging to the club. We are in our third season in MLS, therefore, we want to fortify our place in the city’s sporting landscape."

The club is looking for more exposure on different platforms. Throughout the 2014 season, the marketing campaign will be featured on billboards and bus shelters, along with advertisements in newspapers, on TV, online and on the radio. In addition, street banners will be put up along the city's major arteries.

Social media will continue to be an important tool to reach out to supporters and help introduce the Impact to the general public. To help improve its following, the Impact will look to increase its online content with more video and exclusive access.

The organization is also looking to improve its visibility with an increase in public appearances. The FIFA World Cup this summer will be a great opportunity to help grow the club and the game.
