Reserve League: Impact takes on D.C. United at Stade Saputo on Friday

MONTREAL, Quebec - The Montreal Impact (5-2-1) will face off against D.C. United (2-1-1) on Friday in MLS Reserve League action, at Stade Saputo at 2pm (ET), looking for its fourth win in a row. The game is open to the public and admission is free.


The Impact currently sits in second place in the Eastern Division with 16 points, two behind the Columbus Crew, which also puts the club in a tie for second place overall with the Houston Dynamo and the Colorado Rapids in Reserve League play. The team with the most points at the end of the 10-game season is declared the Reserve League champion.

Midfielder Sanna Nyassi leads the team in scoring with three goals, all coming in the Impact’s 5-1 romp of the Philadelphia Union back on August 5 at Stade Saputo, while midfielder Josh Gardner has three assist in four games played.


The Impact will conclude its Reserve League season on September 11 in Washington against D.C. United at the DCU Training Field, at 11am (ET).
