Montreal Impact midfielder Sanna Nyassi has earned the AT&T Goal of the Week honours for week 23, following his long 70 yard run and score against the New England revolution last Sunday at Gillette Stadium. The Gambian finished with 45% of the votes, ahead of LA Galaxy`s Juninho.
Nyassi scored the goal after intercepting a pass near his own 18-yard box, dribbled down field, megged a Revs defender, before firing a bullet into the top right corner fo the net.
