The Impact returns to CKAC Sports and THE TEAM 990 in 2011

Soccer fans will be able to follow the Impact live in French on CKAC Sports and in English on THE TEAM 990.

In 2011, the 14 regular season matches at Saputo Stadium will be presented live, as well as matches versus Major League Soccer (MLS) teams, April 27 versus the Vancouver Whitecaps, as part of the Nutrilite Canadian Championship, along with a friendly versus the New York Red Bulls on May 11.

The Impact’s playoff matches, including away games, will also be presented live on both radio stations.

"Once again this season, CKAC Sports is pleased to offer its listeners play-by-play and analysis of every Impact game," said Michel Tremblay, CKAC’s program director. "With less than a year to go before the arrival of MLS, the interest surrounding soccer in Quebec is at an all-time high."

"THE TEAM 990 is delighted to continue its partnership with the Impact," said Wayne Bews, THE TEAM 990’s general manager. "We are proud to deliver Impact coverage to Montreal soccer fans and we can’t wait to follow the Impact on our airwaves in 2011."

Jacques Thériault will handle play-by-play duties at CKAC Sports this season, while Francis Millien will provide the color commentary. Jeremy Filosa will once again act as sideline reporter. The station will continue to feature its weekly show “Parlons Soccer”, hosted by Jacques Thériault.

The voices for the Impact at THE TEAM 990 will be Brian Wilde (play-by-play) and Noel Butler (color commentary). The station will also continue to feature its weekly soccer show, "Oranges @ Halftime", hosted by Noel Butler.
