Forward Anthony Jackson-Hamel scored twice in less than five minutes (77th and 82nd minute), while forward Peter Byers scored the first goal of the match in the 21st minute.



“It feels really good to get bakc the satisfaction of winning," said Academy head coach Philippe Eullaffroy. "The kids were rewarded for their hard work over the last few weeks. This win ends on a good note our home stand. We hope to continue to succeed in the next matches on the road.”



Goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau made some key saves to get the shutout. Academy players Dominic Provost and Kevin Cossette did not take part in this match due to the fact they are are taking their second consecutive road trip with the first team.



The Impact Academy will play its next games in St. Catharines on July 23 and in Brampton, the following day. The Academy will then play its next home game at Saputo Stadium on July 31st at 1pm against the Serbian White Eagles.
