SPRING BREAK CLINIC
During the 7th edition of the spring break clinic, the training sessions will be supervised by Trois-Rivières Attak head coach Philippe Eullaffroy and will be offered by the Impact’s reserve team players, since the first team will at that time be on a pre-season tour in Portugal.
“Demand for this clinic was so high that it became necessary to obtain the participation of Attak players and their head coach,” declared Mauro Biello. “Philippe Eullaffroy is a specialist in youth training. He did an outstanding job in 2009 by bringing the Attak to the Canadian Soccer League championship with a team that mainly included players who were under 23. It’s a great opportunity for the youth to practice their favourite sport during the school break.”
“This clinic is directly tied to the youth detection efforts that are being carried out by the organization, since one of the common missions of the Impact and the Attak is to participate in the development and scouting of local talent, with the final objective of integrating those players in the reserve team,” noted Philippe Eullaffroy.
PRE-SEASON CAMP
The intensive eight-week clinic (once a week, March 6 to May 2) will be supervised by Mauro Biello and Youssef Dahha and will be offered by Montreal Impact players.
“This intensive clinic is a pre-season training camp of sorts for players who are looking for extra preparation for their summer season,” explained Mauro Biello. “The youth get the chance to learn with their idols who are last year’s defending champions. Given that this program allows us to follow them every week, Impact members will be able to track and measure the progress of every young player.”
Both clinics have been designed for all U7 to U15 players and goalkeepers. Players will be grouped according to their age and skill level, while goalkeepers will take part in a specific clinic.
The cost for the spring break session is $165 (taxes included; ball and t-shirt included), while the intensive clinic is $175 (taxes included; ball and t-shirt included).
