Bordeaux (24-6-8) ended the championship with 80 points, three points ahead of Marseille. The team of head coach Laurent Blanc registered a sixth title as French Champion.
Bordeaux will have the chance to defend its title in Montreal. Last year, Bordeaux had defeated Lyon in the 13th Champions Trophy.
For the first time in history, this prestigious game will be presented outside of France.
Tickets are currently on sale through Admission (514-790-1245 / admission.com) and at the ticketing offices of Olympic Stadium and Saputo Stadium. Ticket prices are between $15 and $50 (taxes included). Youth rates at $10 and $15 for spectators aged 16 and under, as well as special group rates are also offered.
