Impact faces Honduras Monday

“It will be a good experience for players to measure up to a national level team like Honduras, with a superior game caliber than Lynn University, which we shut out 5-0 Saturday,” said assistant coach Peter Pinizzotto, who is responsible for the physical preparation of the players during training camp. “The players are working well and this game will be another good challenge for us.”

In its last game against Honduras, ranked 43rd in the world, the Impact had tied 1-1, March 26, 2007, in Florida.

The Impact has a record of three wins, two losses and two ties, in seven exhibition games, since the beginning of training camp.

The Impact will face its USL First Division rivals, the Miami FC Blues, Sunday, March 30. The club will kick off the regular season, Saturday April 12, in Vancouver, against the Whitecaps.
