Impact loans Frederico Moojen to MISL club New Jersey Ironmen

In his inaugural year with the Impact, the 24-year old Brazilian started eight of the 14 games he played for a total of 773 minutes. He tallied two goals and one assist for five points. He notably scored the 500th goal in Impact history, May 11, in a 1-1 tie in Puerto Rico.

Suffering from an abdominal injury, he underwent surgery August 20, putting an end to his season. He has since recovered from his injury.

In 2008, Moojen will play the second of his two-year deal signed with the Impact March 1, 2007.

The New Jersey Ironmen is an expansion team that will kick off its first season tomorrow in Orlando, against the Sharks. The first home opener will take place December 1, against the Detroit Ignition.
