Montreal Impact games announced on Radio-Canada

The majority of games will be broadcast Friday nights and Sunday afternoons. Radio-Canada will broadcast 10 home games, including the club’s 14th home opener from Claude-Robillard Sports Complex, on May 20th, against the Seattle Sounders. Each game will be preceded by a half-hour pre-game show.

The two Impact home games played away from home will also be part of the package, July 1st, in Quebec City against the California Victory and July 8th in Sherbrooke, against the Carolina RailHawks.

Radio-Canada will also broadcast two road games, both against the Impact’s rivals the Rochester Raging Rhinos, including Montreal’s last game of the regular season on September 8, which may be a key game in the overall standings.

The voice of the Montreal Impact will be Claude Quenneville, who was notably the voice of the Montreal Canadiens on the radio, from 1982 to 1990, and on television, from 1990 to 2002. The announcement of the colour commentator will be made at a later date.

The agreement also includes the broadcast of playoff matches, should the Impact qualify.
