For a second straight year, kids from the Quebec Breakfast Club Reach Your Goal with the Impact

Spearheaded by Montreal Impact midfielder Patrick Leduc, the eight-week program is designed to promote the importance of cooperation and team spirit on a day-to-day basis. The project focuses on teamwork but also promotes health and schooling.

“I am very pleased to team up with the Club des petits déjeuners du Québec once again this year,” said Patrick Leduc, spokesperson for the program in 2006. “This project is another example of how the Impact is helping the community. This Impact is a great example of teamwork and I’m proud to share my experience with the kids.”

Daniel Germain, president and founder of the Quebec Breakfast Club, strongly believes in this project. “Last year, we initiated the project because we wanted to offer kids more than a simple breakfast. We wanted them to have the opportunity to develop social skills with others. We have won our bet and we are very pleased that the Impact supports the project once again this year, in two different schools.”

Since its foundation in 1994, the Quebec Breakfast Club tries to ensure that all kids are provided with two of the most essential elements for better learning — a nutritional breakfast and a nourishing environment. In addition to the breakfast service, the club holds many activities, such as the Reach your goal with the Impact program, designed to help kids with their self-esteem.
