2007/2008: Began the season with Olympique de Marseille before being transferred to Ligue 2’s SC Bastia in January 2008, registering one goal in 12 games with his new team… Scored his first professional goal on February 22, 2008, against Libourne-Saint-Seurin… Also played in one Coupe de la Ligue game.

2006/2007: Part of French first division club Olympique de Marseille, joining the team in July 2006, but only played one Cup game at Montpellier… Mostly played with Marseille’s reserve team.

YOUTH
Previously played from 2003 to 2006 in the CFA, France’s fourth division, with his hometown club Olympique Noisy-le-Sec Banlieue 93… Was recruited by that club in 1995 at 11 years old… Played well in a Coupe de France game against Auxerre… Glasgow Rangers, Le Mans, Rennes and Marseille all subsequently showed interest in him.
