2016/2017: Transferred from Galatasaray to Italian first division club Bologna FC 1909 for €1.3 million on August 17… Finished tied for first place in goals within the team with a total of nine in all competitions… Recorded eight goals and three assists in 31 Serie A games, including 29 starts, and 2,584 minutes… Also scored one goal in the Coppa Italia round of 16 against Inter Milan… Named Player of the month for Bologna FC 1909 in November and in January.

2015/2016: Won the Turkish Super Cup with Galatasaray against Bursaspor, but didn’t appear in the game… Loaned by Galatasaray to Serie A club Genoa C.F.C. on August 30… Recorded three goals and two assists in 27 games, including 22 starts, and 1,786 minutes.

2014/2015: Transferred from Napoli to Turkish first division club Galatasaray S.K. for €2.35 million, on September 1… Won the Super Lig championship and the Turkish Cup in his first season with Galatasaray… Recorded one assist in 11 regular season games, starting seven… Appeared in four UEFA Champions League group stage games, including three starts… Registered one assist in five Turkish Cup games, including four starts.
