Jules Gueguen is in his first season as fitness coach, after being appointed on January 8, 2020. He served as the first team’s interim fitness coach in the second half of the 2019 season.
He was part of the coaching staff that won the 2019 Canadian Championship, at BMO Field in Toronto.
Gueguen, 33, previously acted as the Impact Academy senior fitness coach since 2018, after being the assistant fitness coach in 2016 and 2017.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in physical activity intervention from UQAM and a Master’s degree in science, sports science and sports psychology from Lund University, in Sweden.
He also has a college degree in physical evaluation and preparation from the Institut national du sport, in partnership with the University of Poitiers, in France, and holds a National B Licence.
