Vassili Cremanzidis is in his fourth season within the first team technical staff, and his first as Head of Analysis and Assistant Director of Player Personnel, after being appointed on November 15, 2018.
Reporting directly to Rémi Garde, Cremanzidis most notably manages the first team’s salary cap, as well as preparing and structuring player contracts. In his seventh season within an MLS first team technical staff, Cremanzidis returns to the Impact after acting as Performance Analyst with the first team between 2013 and 2015. He was then responsible for scouting the team and its opposition, while working with the team’s fitness coach on player monitoring and tracking.
Over the last three years, he was part of the San Jose Earthquakes’ technical staff in MLS, after joining the Western Conference club in 2016 as Analyst, Scouting and Performance. He was then promoted to Head of Analysis and Associate Director of Player Personnel at the start of the 2018 season. He oversaw pregame and postgame analyses, GPS performance analysis and salary cap management as part of his duties.
Originally from Montreal, Cremanzidis, 29, holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Concordia University (2011) and a master’s degree in sports industry management from Georgetown University (2013).
