It wants to take its place as a leader on and off the field. In its transformation to become a consumer-driven organization, the Club is looking for top talent as Lead, Data Science.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing, Digital & Fan Engagement, you will be responsible for not only manipulating, but also interpreting our data. You will own the pipeline from raw data to value-driven insight. In detail, you will be responsible for the process that identifies, refines, structures, enriches, validates and publishes data in a format that will enable our teams across the entire organization to take fact-driven business actions. Your work will drive sales, accelerate our sponsorship efforts, guide our content team and will determine our course of action for all go-to-market activities. In other words, you will have a strong influence on strategic business decisions.

Obviously, you come from a world where technology is king and you’re convinced that the future of business growth flows through harvesting and interpreting data. You already know the tools to gather and interpret raw data – worth more than gold to us – and you have a business-oriented mindset. You are driven by the insatiable goal to deepen your knowledge of our fans and the best ways to convert and retain them.

Here’s the boring but important portion of the job posting. Your responsibilities will be, but won’t limited to:

  • Working with our technology team to evaluate and select the most efficient tools to achieve your goals;
  • Identifying all of the data entry points and warehouses to propose the most efficient ways to streamline into one place that can be accessed across all business units;
  • Exploring new data sources, then preparing/vetting and integrating them into our go-to-market activities;
  • Laying down the groundwork for our company-wide CRM tool;
  • Collaborating with the Sales team to segment our existing database and to propose efficient ways to increase size and conversion of all segments;
  • Collaborating with the Partnerships team to provide ethnographic data linked to our consumers and fans;
  • Analyzing and producing recommendations based on all our data sources (consumer, transactional, social, etc.);
  • Collaborate with our content production team to identify pieces of content that produce high engagement and determine why;
  • Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to determine sales forecasts and levels of marketing spend needed to meet these forecasts;
  • Developing efficient data visualization tools that are adapted to the various business units tapping into your talents.

In essence, this is the type of profile we’re looking for:

  • Proven technical expertise with various data sets: client data, transactional data, digital data, social data, as well as behavioral and ethnographic data;
  • Proficiency with visualization tools (GA, Salesforce, Tag Manager, Console, Tableau, etc.);
  • Experience with the Google Cloud suite for data tracking and management;
  • Business oriented, with a mindset geared towards conversion and growth;
  • Strong experience in a similar position;
  • Excellent ability to analyze and interpret quantitative results;
  • Excellent ability to adapt your communication in order for your insights to be understood and actioned upon by other business units – not everyone is a data guru!
  • An ability to build and maintain relationships;
  • A team-focused approach.

Account Manager, Partnerships

General descriptions of tasks:

- Evaluate our partners' requests and needs for the success of their projects

  • Consult, plan, organize, control and lead the realization of projects with partners

- Attend all games and special events relating to the club

  • Coordinate our partners’ activations (activities and promotional initiatives) during games and promotional events.
  • Coordinate the display and visibility of our partners during games
  • Greet partners and their guests, lead them and inform them of the rules
- Contribute to drafting and executing creative concepts
- Collaborate with suppliers in the production of visibility elements
- Ensure a proper communication between the various actors throughout the year
- Prepare retrospective analyses for all our partners at the end of each season
- Organize the annual meeting with all our partners at the end of the season
- Carry out all other related tasks

Requirements:

- Passion for soccer / sports industry- an asset
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or another related field
- Have 2 to 3 years of experience in managing sponsorships and partnerships & field activation
- Fluent in French and English (oral and written)
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have good organizational skills
- Proactivity, autonomy and professionalism
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time
- Must be a true team player
- Able to resolve problems proactively, work under pressure and multi-task

Educator – Pre-Academy

Contract – Part-time

To experience a passionate professional experience, in a unique and dynamic sporting environment. To innovate and inspire. To taking your place in a club, a community, a movement. To building the new face of professional soccer in Montreal and Quebec.

THE POSITION

Reporting to the technical coordinator, the Pre-Academy educator will be responsible (assistant or lead position) of a group of children on the field aged eight to 12 years old. 

YOUR ROLE

  • Be present 2 to 4 times (depending on the group and role assigned) on evenings from 5:30 to 8pm and possibly on weekends.
  • Prepare and animate training sessions
  • Prepare and give out assessments to players
  • Participate in technical meetings and extracurricular activities
  • Carry out all other related tasks

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2 to 5 years experience in the field
  • Has pertinent experience in education/coaching
  • Demonstrates strong communication abilities
  • Can work under pressure
  • Is organized, open-minded, energetic and positive
