Position: Strategist, Partnerships and Marketing

Department: Partnerships

Reporting to the main director, Partnerships, the role of the strategist will be to ensure an effective communication between partners and the Impact’s Partnerships and Marketing teams. They will act as a consultant to Partnerships.

Main responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient and constant communication between Marketing and Partnerships;
  • Bring ideas to the main director, Partnerships and to the Sales director, Partnerships to find and attract new potential partners;
  • Develop strategies to maintain and solidify links with established partners;
  • Identify new opportunities for partners and formulate recommendations to the Directors in a structured way in order to optimize campaign results;
  • Evaluate the needs and requests of partners in order to conceptualize them into a project;
  • Aid in the preparation of corporate presentations of the Partnerships department;
  • Offer partners a daily service in order to maintain and increase their satisfaction levels;
  • Put in place follow-up tools and performance indicators in order to measure the value and impact of partnerships;
  • Collaborate narrowly with other departments to ensure open communication and a uniform and efficient workflow.

Qualifications required

  • Bachelor’s in marketing, communications, public relations or another related field;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing and operating sponsorships and partnerships, filed activation or another related field;
  • Proficient in MLS Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, and Keynote;
  • Bilingual, oral and written.

Manager, projects and operations at Stade Saputo

Department: Stadium operations

Reporting to the Director, Operations – Stade Saputo, the manager of Projects and Operations – Stade Saputo is there to support the director in the stadium’s diverse projects. The manager will be responsible for the logistics of infrastructure projects, techniques and technologies related to events at Stade Saputo. 

Main responsibilities

  • Assist the director of operations at Stade Saputo in the planning and management of the stadium’s different projects;
  • Participate in supervising and in implementing Montreal Impact games and other Stade Saputo events, before and after events with the help of management tools;
  • Assist the director of operations in the preparation of budgets and in the technical specifications of each event, ensuring a follow-up during the event in collaboration with the contact in question;
  • Direct and lead the subcontractors and various consultants appointed during events;
  • Recruit and lead seasonal employees and / or contractors during events;
  • Identity the necessary amenities for the diverse activities of each event;

  • Work on the development and implementation of solutions to sustain the growth of events;
  • Propose bids for various development, technical or technological projects related to the stadium and manage their implementation;
  • Prepare a plan of the site and validate the obligations of installations in regard to the rules in place while respecting the budget;
  • Collaborate with services to develop projects and establish budgets related to the operations and activations of business partners.

Required qualifications

  • Minimum of a diploma in vocational studies in event or project management;
  • 3 years’ experience as supervisor in a similar position;
  • Bilingual, written and spoken;
  • Profidicent with Autocad (reading and creation of plans)
  • Basic computer skills;
  • Knowledge in construction (a plus)

General descriptions of tasks:

- Evaluate our partners' requests and needs for the success of their projects

  • Consult, plan, organize, control and lead the realization of projects with partners

- Attend all games and special events relating to the club

  • Coordinate our partners’ activations (activities and promotional initiatives) during games and promotional events.
  • Coordinate the display and visibility of our partners during games
  • Greet partners and their guests, lead them and inform them of the rules
- Contribute to drafting and executing creative concepts
- Collaborate with suppliers in the production of visibility elements
- Ensure a proper communication between the various actors throughout the year
- Prepare retrospective analyses for all our partners at the end of each season
- Organize the annual meeting with all our partners at the end of the season
- Carry out all other related tasks


- Passion for soccer / sports industry- an asset
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or another related field
- Have 2 to 3 years of experience in managing sponsorships and partnerships & field activation
- Fluent in French and English (oral and written)
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have good organizational skills
