MONTREAL – In less than 24 hours of sales, the Montreal Impact announced on Monday that the club has already sold over 20,000 tickets for the MLS Eastern Conference Championship against Toronto FC, to be played on Tuesday, November 22, at 8pm at the Olympic Stadium.

Excellent tickets are still available for this historic game on impactmontreal.com and by phone at 514 328-2668.

“We are pleased and proud that tickets are selling at a similar pace than for our biggest games like the Champions League final,” said Montreal Impact executive vice-president Richard Legendre. “Toronto can draw 30,000 people, so we’ll try to beat them in the attendance figures as well. We want to fill the stadium again for this, the last game of the year in Montreal. This will be yet another unique moment, featuring the greatest sports rivalry in Canada.”

The Impact will look to clinch a berth to MLS Cup, scheduled for December 10 at the home of Seattle Sounders FC or Colorado Rapids (whichever club wins the Western Conference Championship).

The Bleu-blanc-noir qualified for the Eastern Conference Championship on Sunday, defeating the New York Red Bulls by a score of 2-1 (3-1 on aggregate) at Red Bull Arena.
