MONTREAL – The Canadian Soccer Association has called up Impact first team wingers Ballou Jean-Yves Tabla (previous club: Panellinios) and David Choinière (previous club: Celtix du Haut-Richelieu), as well as FC Montreal defender Thomas Meilleur-Giguère (previous club: Arsenal de l’Assomption) for two friendly games against Honduras on November 12 and 14 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

The two games are part of a nine-day camp beginning in Houston on November 6 ahead of the 2017 CONCACAF Men’s U20 Championship that will take place in Costa Rica from February 17 to March 5, 2017.

This will be a first Canada national team camp in 2016 for David Choinière, who has gotten regular call-ups from the Canadian Soccer Association since 2012, when he was 15.

Ballou Jean-Yves Tabla and Thomas Meilleur-Giguère return to the national team only two months after completing a U20 camp in Costa Rica. Canada played two friendlies against Costa Rica, losing 2-1 and 2-0.
