Michael Salazar called up by the Belize national team

MONTREAL – Forward Michael Salazar has been selected by the Belize national team to take part in a friendly game against Honduras on Saturday, October 8, at FBB Stadium in Belmopan.
Salazar has appeared in four games with the Belize national team, taking part in the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Forward Anthony Jackson-Hamel (Canada), midfielder Johan Venegas (Costa Rica) and defenders Laurent Ciman (Belgium) and Ambroise Oyongo (Cameroon) have also been selected by their national team to play international games in the upcoming days. Impact U18 players Mathieu Choinière and Marques Antoine have been called up as well, by the Canada U18 national team.
The Impact will play its last home game of the regular season at Stade Saputo on Sunday, October 16, at 3pm against rivals Toronto FC. This game was initially scheduled for 5pm, but all tickets with the original time for this game will be valid at all Stade Saputo entrances on October 16, starting at 1:30pm. Excellent individual tickets are still available for this game on impactmontreal.com. The Bleu-blanc-noir will then finish its regular season on Sunday, October 23, at 4pm in Massachusetts against the New England Revolution.
