FC Montreal ended its second USL season last Saturday against the Harrisburg City Islanders and it was now time for the players and FC Montreal head coach Philippe Eullaffroy to answer the questions of the media representatives for a season review.
Players Aron Mkungilwa, Ballou Jean-Yves Tabla, Thomas Meilleur-Giguère and Louis Béland-Goyette talked about the level of the USL, their individual progression and the steps to go through to get from the USSDA to the USL, and from the USL to the MLS.
Eullaffroy came back on FC Montreal’s results that were under the expectations placed in the beginning of the season, but mentioned how they succeeded in giving playing time to some first-team players and how it helped them progress, as well as many young Academy players, another important mission for this team.
