Nacho Piatti out for around three weeks - The Argentinean underwent hand surgery on Friday

The Montreal Impact will be without Nacho Piatti for approximately three weeks due to a left hand injury suffered against Orlando City SC on May 21.

Although the Impact’s No. 10 was able to play in recent weeks, he had no choice but to undergo surgery. Impact Media was at the club’s training centre on Friday to hear what head coach Mauro Biello had to say on the matter.

“Nacho has a slight hand injury, and after imaging tests, doctors determined that he needed surgery,” said Biello. “The ligaments of the thumb had to be repaired immediately, because it would affect his everyday life.”
