After a successful first event, the Montreal Impact does it again with its second IMFC Live viewing party of the season. Whereas the team travels to Camping World Stadium to take on Orlando City SC, the club invites Montreal supporters to go to La Cage – Place Versailles (7275, rue Sherbrooke E) for an enthralling evening.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm EDT, but get there early! The place will fill up fast! Here are 10 good reasons to join us at La Cage.
Massive screen
Soccer is a larger-than-life game. We thus feel that an Impact game should be watched on a massive screen where you can pick out the players’ best technical feats and the finer points of their body language.
Virtual world meets real world
An absolute highlight of the latest IMFC Live party, the FIFA 16 tournament on PS4 will be back. 32 challengers in teams of two will fight for the crown. You can be one of these. Simply fill out the form available here. Qualifiers will be played on four different consoles starting at 4:30pm. The semifinals and final will be broadcast on the La Cage video wall – no pressure! The winning team gets match tickets for Field Side seats at Stade Saputo. Second and third place will be rewarded with a $250 La Cage gift card and an IMFC swag bag, respectively. Only the selected players will be contacted by email. This form does not guarantee a place in the tournament bracket.
The closest you can get to supporting the team on the road
Orlando’s not exactly close to Stade Saputo. Supporting the Impact on the road can be a tricky matter, but IMFC Live is the next best thing: atmosphere, supporters that share your passion and that extra special feeling of high-fiving your neighbour while the locals sulk.
