MONTREAL – The Impact announced on Tuesday that the club has passed the 9,500 mark in season ticket-holding members for the first time ever.

No fewer than 3,500 new season tickets have been sold, and the club has also posted the best renewal rate in its history, with 91 percent.

Furthermore, season ticket availability is already very limited in certain categories, most notably in three of the four Premium Seats categories. All season Suites are sold out, including those in Club 93 and in the Umberto Cesari Tower Club.

“There are very positive signs for our 2016 season,” said Richard Legendre, Montreal Impact Executive Vice-President, Strategic Development and Communications. “This is yet another proof that interest for the Impact is growing. This being said, we keep making every effort to bring in more members and draw a bigger attendance to every game.”

For the first time in club history, the Impact played its Stade Saputo home opener in front of a sell-out crowd of 20,801. After its first three home games of the season, the Bleu-blanc-noir has welcomed the fifth-highest average attendance in MLS, with 23,466.

The Montreal Impact’s next home game takes place on Saturday, April 30, at 4pm EDT against the Colorado Rapids (RDS, 98,5fm &TSN Radio 690). Excellent individual tickets, as well as season tickets starting at $98 per month and Pick-4-Packs, are still available on impactmontreal.com. In the meantime, the Impact will take on New York City FC, this Wednesday, April 27, at 7pm EDT, at Yankee Stadium (RDS & TSN Radio 690).
