MONTREAL - Following the various security measures adopted in stadiums across the world, the MLS has announced this week that new security measures regarding the search of supporters and the control of bags will be implemented across all the league’s stadiums.

These measures will be enforced progressively at Stade Saputo starting Saturday, April 30, for the game against Colorado Rapids.

To ensure that fans are able to enjoy a safe environment to attend games, the following will be prohibited:

  • Large purses;
  • Coolers;
  • Briefcases;
  • Backpacks;
  • Luggage of any kind;
  • Computer bags;
  • Camera bags;
  • Any bag or accessory larger than 14’’x14’’x6’’.

This policy is not intended to effect supporters who require medical supplies or equipment, or nursing parents with children under 2.

Please also note that all bags will be searched upon entry at Stade Saputo, as was the case in past seasons. You can view the full list of prohibited items at Stade Saputo.

The club wishes to inform supporters that steps will be taken to ensure you can enter Stade Saputo quickly, but we advise that you arrive early at the stadium to prevent any delay.
