MONTREAL – The Montreal Impact unveiled its 2016 TV broadcast schedule on Friday. Once again this year, all 34 regular season games will be available live on television.
A total of 21 games will be presented on TVA Sports, the club’s official broadcast partner, while another 13 games will be on RDS and 10 on TSN, official broadcast partners of MLS.
RDS and TSN will broadcast the team’s season opener, as the Impact takes on Vancouver Whitecaps FC on March 6 at 5:30pm ET at BC Place.
TVA Sports will then broadcast the two home games at the Olympic Stadium, including the Impact’s home opener on March 12 at 4pm (ET) against defending regular season champions New York Red Bulls.
TSN and RDS will broadcast the MLSCup Playoffs and the All-Star Game against Arsenal on July 28 in San Jose.
The voice behind the broadcast on TVA Sports will be Frédéric Lord, working alongside analyst Vincent Destouches. On RDS, Claudine Douvillewill returnon play-by-play with Jean Gounelle, while Olivier Brett and Patrick Leduc will complete the team during pregame and halftime. Games on TSN will be called by duos composed of Luke Wileman and Jason deVos or Vic Rauter and Greg Sutton.
