The Canadian Soccer Association announced on Monday its list of players nominated for player of the year awards across multiple categories.

Impact Academy player Ballou Jean-Yves Tabla is nominated for the Canadian U17 player of the year.

Tabla (previously with amateur club Panellinios), who recently signed a pro contract with FC Montreal in the USL, was a member of the Impact U18 team that played in the USSDA’s 2014-2015season. The team showed very well, finishing first in the regular season standings.

During 2015, he joined Canada’s U17 and U18 teams four times under coaches Sean Fleming and Robert Gale.
